Johan Van de Steen joined IK Partners in 2017 and is a Managing Partner responsible for the Operations team. With over 28 years’ worth of experience in Operations, including 20 years in the private equity industry, he works across the Firm’s portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle to help unlock value. Using his significant expertise and experience gained throughout his career, Johan plays a pivotal role leading the Operations team and working with management teams to drive performance improvement initiatives.
Prior to joining IK, Johan started his career at Siemens before joining McKinsey & Company and then moving to KKR Capstone, where he was an Operating Partner. Johan held similar roles at private equity firms in the United Kingdom and Switzerland before joining IK Partners. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in Electronics Engineering from the University of Leuven.
Outside of work, Johan enjoys playing tennis and skiing.
