Industri Kapital acquires the tinting systems business of Tikkurila CPS

Industri Kapital has signed an agreement whereby the Industri Kapital 2000 Fund will acquire the tinting systems business of Tikkurila CPS Oy from Kemira Oyj. Kemira will retain a minority interest of approximately 30% in the business. Furthermore Finnish MB Funds and management will become minority investors in the new company.

With our new main owners we can further progress as an independent company, and will be able to increase our efforts to build and develop our business”, says Raimo Piironen, now President of Tikkurila Oy and who will become Managing Director of the new company.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals.
