A-SAFE

Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Yorkshire, United Kingdom, A-SAFE (“the Company”) produces a diverse range of polymer-based safety products which are used in warehouses and factories. The Company’s core offering includes industrial polymer barriers which safeguard people and site assets from collisions with material handling equipment such as forklifts. Polymer barriers are considered safer, more aesthetically pleasing and crucially, cheaper over their lifetime than steel barriers.

Originally established as a polythene extrusion specialist, A-SAFE transitioned into the industrial polymer market in 2000 and has grown steadily in scale and expertise, with over 80 of its 720 employees committed to research and development. Ably led by the founding family, the Company has cultivated a loyal and diversified blue-chip customer base and serves more than 6,000 businesses across 50 countries, including Coca-Cola, Amazon and UPS.

IK Partners acquired a minority stake in A-SAFE in April 2024, from the founding family who remains significantly invested.
