Established in 2010, Kooi Camera Surveillance (“Kooi” or “the Company”) is a fast-growing pan-European provider of temporary video surveillance (“TVS”) and rising early-detection (“RED”) fire alarm systems, including a range of Units for Observations (“UFOs”). The Company has a strong heritage in renewables and furthermore, serves clients in the construction and infrastructure space, with significant experience in off-grid power-supply such as solar panels and bio-fuel generators. Kooi provides an end-to-end service from technical advice, delivery, installation and 24/7 monitoring through its own alarm centres.

Headquartered in Drachten, the Netherlands, Kooi currently employs over 200 people who operate across 19 strategically located hubs in Europe and serve 23 countries. The Company has a particularly sizeable presence in the Benelux, DACH, France and Nordics. IK Partners acquired its stake via the IK X Fund in March 2024 from Bencis Capital Partners, founder Pieter Kooi and the management team, who have all reinvested.
