Simon May joined IK Partners in 2020 and is the Partner responsible for the UK Development Capital Investment team. He has extensive experience in private equity and specialises in the Industrials sector. Since joining, he has played a key role in developing the UK Small Cap team, utilising his broad network of connections to keep up to date with market activity and was involved in the Forthglade and DA Languages transactions.
Prior to joining IK, Simon was a Partner at Graphite Capital where he worked for 10 years. He started his career with PwC, initially in Audit and then in Business Recovery Services. Simon holds a first-class degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Outside of work, Simon plays tennis and golf, enjoys family life and watches Charlton Athletic play football.
