Founded in 2003 and headquartered near Linz, Austria, Schwingshandl automation technology (“Schwingshandl” or “the Company”) is a one-stop shop providing a range of innovative, engineered solutions across the full warehouse automation spectrum. It has a strong focus on customisation relating to loading, handling and storage technologies.

The Company has over 90 employees and its made-to-measure automation solutions are designed for a broad range of industries, including Food, Manufacturing, Airport Logistics and Pharmaceuticals. Its modules and sub-systems include lifts, storage and conveyor systems, as well as (de-) palletisers, (de-) stackers and (un-) loading stations.

IK Partners acquired a majority stake in Schwingshandl from its founders in April 2024 who are reinvesting.
