Leading Dutch distributor of automated external defibrillators and related products
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Groningen, Netherlands, Defibrion (“the Company”) is a global distributor of automated external defibrillators (“AEDs”), in-house developed cabinets, safety and first aid products as well as other related services.
The Company employs approximately 50 people who serve more than 5,000 end users. Most of the revenue is generated through resellers; of which there are over 900 across 35 countries within Europe and North America. The remaining customer base is made up of end users in the Benelux and includes offices, universities, sports clubs and retail stores.
IK Partners acquired a majority stake in Defibrion in August 2024 from Holland Capital, Co-Founder and CEO Joshua Valkenier and the management team.
