Established in 1950 and headquartered in Norrköping, Sweden, Francks Kylindustri (“Francks” or “the Company”) is a leading specialist provider of installation and aftermarket services for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Working across the entire refrigeration value chain, Francks offers consultation, design, construction, installation, automation and after-market services.
With more than 75 years of experience, Francks has established itself as a trusted partner to a broad and diversified blue-chip customer base of over 1,000 customers — many of which operate within the Food sector. The Company operates independently from original equipment manufacturers while maintaining close relationships with its customers, enabling the delivery of optimal equipment tailored to each project and avoiding vendor lock-in.
IK Partners invested in Francks in October 2025, succeeding Segulah V — a fund advised by Amplio Private Equity AB (“Amplio”) — as the majority shareholder.

- Pursue operational and commercial improvement across the installation and service functions within the organisation;
- Drive further consolidation in the Nordics; and
- Explore opportunities to expand internationally as well as into new business areas.
