Sterimed Group
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, Ile-de-France, Sterimed Group (“Sterimed” or “the Group”) produces sterile paper, non-woven and plastic film substrates as well as assembled packaging, such as pouches, bags and wraps for medicinal use.
The Group’s highly technical products serve a large and diversified customer base which includes leading medical device manufacturers (“MDMs”), hospitals and intermediaries known as convertors. In recent years, Sterimed has pursued a strategy of international expansion, focusing particularly on China, Mexico and the United States through eight strategic acquisitions. Today, the Group employs over 1,500 people across 14 manufacturing facilities and 24 distribution and sales offices.
IK Partners acquired a stake in Sterimed in May 2025 as part of a management-led consortium, which includes long-term investor Sagard as well as a club of new investors Société Générale CP, Geneo CE, Capza and Investir pour l’Enfance, under the name of “Friends of Sterimed”.

- Continue implementing synergies across the business following recent M&A activity;
- Expand into adjacent segments such as Pharma and Life Sciences; and
- Execute strategic add-on acquisitions to complement existing offering and geographic footprint.
