Renta Acquires Arema

Renta Group Oy (“Renta Group” or “Renta”) has reached an agreement to acquire Arema Heavy Rental Sverige AB (“Arema” or “the Company”). Arema is a Swedish specialist rental company focused on heavy earthmoving equipment, serving primarily infrastructure projects and foundation works in building construction. The Company operates through eight depots across Sweden, has over 45 employees and generates annual revenues of approximately SEK 200 million.

With the acquisition, Renta enters the attractive heavy earthmoving equipment rental segment and further strengthens its position in Sweden. Arema’s offering includes crawler and wheeled excavators, loaders, dumpers, rollers and other earthmoving equipment of up to 40 tonnes. The Company has an established presence in Sweden, a modern fleet and a broad customer base, making Arema an excellent strategic fit for Renta. The combination creates opportunities to provide Arema’s customers with Renta’s broader general rental product and service offering, while Renta’s customers will benefit from Arema’s specialist heavy earthmoving expertise and fleet.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in October 2026.
